Investment plan in the municipality

The master's thesis analyses a selected investment project in the municipality of Ohnišov. The theoretical part defines the economic cycle, public investment, investment project, financing of contracts, municipal management and spatial planning. The practical part analyses the municipality as a whole, its management, long-term goals and compares them in the context of the whole country, and analyses the chosen approach of financing the project and compares it with possible alternatives. In the conclusion, the findings are summarised and recommendations are made.

The budget of municipality from an economics and legal point of view

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to incurred determine the effectiveness of the management of the municipality and analyzed in 2013, 2014 and 2015 revenue and expenditure village of Malé Přítočno. Whether deficits or surpluses incurred, so to determine their causes and find suitable solution, for the community to increase budget revenues, plans to propose the creation of a budget and also using grants for 2016. In the theoretical part is used the definition of terminology regarding to local government. In the practical part that was first described by demographics and geography of the village. By comparing the budgets in individual years, it was found that the economy was effective and its budget in the years 2013 - 2015 always in surplus. Furthermore, it was found that that the municipality could apply for a grant for the wastewater treatment plan according to the Operational Programme Environment, which would give a subsidy from the Cohesion Fund in the amount of up to 85 percent (ie. 27.2 million CZK). The remaining 15 percent (ie. 4.8 million CZK) would have to cover municipality from its budget, but this is not possible, since on the account only has the amount of 2.2 million CZK. Therefor was made a suggestion to increase the revenue of the village by renting the municipal hall.
National Debt of the Czech Republic compared with selected states of the European Union

This work is focused on the general issue of sovereign debt and consequently on the comparison between the various European Union countries and the Czech Republic. The first part deals with the theory of sovereign debt, as general government debt has been incurred and what resources the government has to deal with sovereign debt. There are also described emit forms of sovereign debt in the Czech Republic and the total debt in this country. Own research in the form of a questionnaire survey is presented in the secod part of this work, which includes both the actual exploration and evaluation. Constitutive part also compared the actual states of the European Union to the Czech Republic according to individual criteria.

Analysis of the Municipal Budget of selected Cities

The thesis aims to answer the question whether the budgets of Kamenice nad Lipou and Pelhřimov in the years 2011 - 2015 correspond with objectives and needs of these cities and the differences in the structure of the individual budgets are caused by the different objectives that are determined by municipal policy. The specific goal is to evaluate the financial stability and indebtedness in regard to appointed goals. The analysis, synthesis and subsequent comparison of budgets, final accounts and the available data and informations about cities Kamenice nad Lipou and Pelhřimov in years 2011-2015 was conducted. Based on these methods the hypothesis was confirmed that the municipality budgets of Kamenice nad Lipou and Pelhřimov in years 2011-2015 correspond with the objectives set out in planning documents and with the needs of citizens. In fulfilling these appointed objectives cities not risk hazardous indebtedness and bad economic situation. It was further verified that the structure of the municipal budget Kamenice nad Lipou and Pelhřimov in years 2011-2015 differs in regard to the appointed municipalities objectives.
Analysis of the Greek pension system from 2010: Fiscal sustainability and its future development

The theme of this thesis is to analyze in detail the current pension system of Greece (2010) and attempts to mathematically predict the future development up to 2060. The main content is a mathematical model able to count the balance of the pension system. In the analysis, the emphasis is on the balancing pension system in the long term, and thus examines the impact of changes on the expenditure or revenue. The paper uses the component method for demographic projections. To extend the research was prepared in complete mathematical model pension system. The results demonstrated the ability to maintain the pension system in positive territory in 2060 with proper and sensitive parameter adjustment.
